Glass Lined Tanker

Lehane Environmental has taken delivery of our New Glass Lined Acid Vacuum Tanker. The tanker is constructed from Stainless Steel and has been coated with a Glass Lining which makes it suitable for the vacuum loading and transport of Acids which are normally incompatible with Stainless Steel. The tanker has a liquid capacity of 25,000 litres and is plated for a GVW of 44 tonnes. The tanker is certified to Class 8 ADR.

This tanker will enhance our service in the collection of streams such as pickling acids which we can now treat in Ireland at an EPA Licensed Treatment Facility. This was an area served with no competition and with the addition of our vacuum transport, producers of acidic streams such as pickling acids can have a viable alternative at lower cost to the current provider.
