Lehane Environmental have been providing annual Christmas Donations to Cork Simon Community and other charities for a number of years. At times of crisis, regular charities can be often left behind as people concentrate on the event in hand. Covid-19 is no different, and the work of the volunteers in maintaining services to the most vulnerable in society is never more essential. Cork Simon works in solidarity with men and women who are homeless in Cork, offering housing and support in their journey back to Independent living. Covid-19 generates additional risks to staff as well as residents.
Lehane Environmental has provided a full Biohazard Cleaning Service over the last 10 years and we have specialist equipment and chemicals for the disinfecting of building and surfaces. We provided Cork Simon Community with this service free of charge to help protect their good work.
This service can be used for the cleaning of an area which is suspected to have been contaminated by persons who have contracted Coronavirus / Covid-19. We have some contractual obligations and CSR obligations for example the fire services and essential utilities.
